Aquin aura eu raison
Ils ont raté leurs rendez-vous avec l’Histoire (les référendums de 1980 et de 1995). Aujourd’hui, la démographie joue contre eux, et en plus ils se complaisent dans la médiocrité. Ils se replient sur eux-mêmes. Ils démissionnent. Ils vont même jusqu’à refuser la rencontre amoureuse… C’est foutu, ils n’ont plus d’avenir. D’ici un siècle ou deux, ils seront noyés dans le continent anglophone. Ce sera la fin de l’aventure francophone en Amérique du Nord. (Pour renverser la vapeur, il faudrait une révolution, et chacun sait qu’on ne fait pas une révolution dans une société d’abondance, une société trop confortable.) En écrivant cela, je ne fais pas exprès pour être négatif. J’exprime mon sentiment profond.
